They authorize LookingForSubs.com to display their submitted information, including name, contact details, practice areas, and biography.
They acknowledge that listing fees, if any, are non-refundable under any circumstances.
They acknowledge that LookingForSubs.com makes no guarantee regarding the quality, volume, or suitability of consumer inquiries or leads generated through the Site.
They agree not to hold LookingForSubs.com liable for consumer complaints, disputes, or claims arising from their independent legal services.
They represent that all submitted information, including bar number and licensing status, is accurate and current. Submission of false or misleading information constitutes grounds for immediate removal and may result in liquidated damages as described in Section 8.
They agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in full.
By providing a phone number during signup or listing submission, attorneys consent to be contacted by LookingForSubs.com regarding their listing, account status, and related communications.
Consumers using the Site must independently evaluate attorneys before hiring. This includes confirming licensing, experience, suitability for the legal matter, and fee agreements. LookingForSubs.com is not responsible for any disputes, damages, losses, or other issues arising from consumer hiring decisions.
This Site and its services are intended for use only in jurisdictions where such services are lawful. Use of this Site is void where prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law. It is your responsibility to determine whether your use of this Site is lawful in your jurisdiction.
The Site and its compiled directory information reflect substantial investment of time and resources. Unauthorized automated scraping, crawling, bulk extraction, or copying of Site data constitutes harm that is difficult to quantify. Users agree that, in the event of such unauthorized activity, liquidated damages shall apply as follows:
Five hundred dollars ($500) per automated session
Fifty dollars ($50) per individual attorney record extracted
Twenty-five dollars ($25) per pricing calculation or quote accessed
A minimum aggregate of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per violation
User acknowledges these amounts represent a reasonable estimate of harm and not a penalty. These liquidated damages are cumulative and in addition to other legal remedies, including injunctive relief and recovery of attorneys' fees and enforcement costs.
By using the Site, you consent to receive communications regarding your account, listings, or essential updates. Marketing communications require separate express consent. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. Transactional communications, such as listing updates and account notices, cannot be opted out of.
By providing a phone number on this Site, you expressly consent to be contacted at that number by LookingForSubs.com regarding your listing or account, including by phone or text message, in accordance with applicable law including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
LookingForSubs.com collects technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, device information, and page interactions to maintain and improve the Site. To the maximum extent permitted by law, any communications, posts, or content regarding LookingForSubs.com made in connection with disputes are subject to applicable anti-SLAPP protections. Users acknowledge that frivolous or retaliatory claims against the Site or its operators are prohibited.
